my father abandoned my mother when I was an infant, so I know very little of his family.
when I was a boy in Ohio in the early 1960s my mother's mother told me that she had been told by a member of my father's family that they,too were descendents of the old abolitionist.
where can I obtain a listing of John Brown's male children & their male chldren? My grandfather was Shuble L. Brown, born in Delaware County, Ohio in 1906 or 07.
