All cars must be FRONT ENGINED ALTEREDS, 23t, Bantam, Fiat, etc. 140” wb max. Nostalgia-type, Pre 1948 body.
Free entry for car/driver and 4 crewmembers if pre-entered. $50 at the gate. Pre-enter by June 1st for free entry.
Format and Pay out:
Modified Chicago Shootout. After the parade, everyone runs, whether it is 10 cars or 20 cars. The quick 16 get paid $200. Of the 16, the quick 8 ET’s win or lose, come back for second round. Second round pays $300. The quick 2 ET’s, from either round, come back to RACE in the final for $400 and $500.

Rules:
1. Alcohol, Nitromethane, or Gasoline. No nitrous oxide. No Screw Blowers.
2. Nitromethane limited to naturally aspirated and 6.71 blowers only.
3. Single magneto only.
4. Tech guidelines set by the 2009 NHRA rulebook. Must meet Adv. ET to run faster than 7.50. ALL CARS MUST HAVE A DIAPER.
5. Must stage under power to get round money. If your car cannot stage under power you will not receive round money. Courteous staging is highly recommended.
6. If a car has a quick enough ET to advance to the next round, but breaks and can not make the call for next round, the quickest alternate will replace the broken car. The alternate will split the round money with the broken car.
You’re there to put on a show! Please keep this in mind. Big smoky burnouts are encouraged. Side-by-side burnouts are a must. Do not pull into the water box until both cars are ready. (Unless there is a definite problem.)
Teams are encouraged to wear shirts of matching colors on the starting line. Examples: Team themed shirt, all blue, all black, all red, etc....We want your Team to look professional.
Free test session Friday night. If you make a pass Friday night, I recommend that it only be a half pass. Save your parts, we need you on Saturday. Saturday the gates will open at noon. Parade will be about 6:30. All cars will go directly to the lanes after the parade. NO TEST PASSES ON SATURDAY.
