Major Flames yesterday

While mowing his pasture yesterday Raymond's 16ft batwing mower caught the grass on fire. Fifty fire fighters from all surrounding areas battled the blaze, but not before it burned 6 vehicles, 2 tractors and many, many other pcs of farming equipment. Even the well house burned stopping the water pump. The flames burned to within inches of his house, on all four sides but firemen were able to stop them before burning his house. All together it burned about 30 acres and lots of round bales of hay. NO animals were injured. Dad was overcome by heat exhaustion but was treated by paramedics on site and released after a couple hrs. My BushWhacker transporter was on site as well but was not damaged. The Magic Dragon was in his shop and also remained safe. It took 13 hrs to get all the fires out to where the last firemen could leave. A special thanks to our good friend and crew chief Steve Prince who is always there to help when needed. Right now participation in the OFAA Ardmore event is unknown for the Magic Dragon and the BushWhacker! Jody
