They even have mileage guarantees attached to their work. Too bad that doctors can get away with just about anything. One thing you probably should check, however--if you haven't already done so--is your state's Medical Association. Check to see if the doc who hurt your husband has had similar things happen in the past. Also, if you haven't already done so, touch base with an attorney just to be sure you don't have a case. By the way, did the doctor apologize at all that this happened?

It is truly a tragedy that when you sign a medical consent form, you lose any recourse you have for errors made by the medical personnel who work on you.
