I cannot lie but I just went through my colonoscopy completely awake. And though it didnt hurt it was completely uncomfortable. It bothered me feeling that tube inside me. I was cold and with loads of pressure where they were working. I cannot believe my doctor just kept at it like it was nothing strange. And showing me the monitor to show me there was nothing wrong. Of course since Im a minor my mother was pissed at the doctor and told me im not going again. I dont believe it to be inhumane. I just wanted to share my story.
