I am a Level T4 parapalegic I want to get hemoroids removed cause they are pretty bad which can cause Autonomic Dysreflexia. My doctor didn't tell me about this. I only found out after I was on the table getting ready to have the Colonoscopy. The Anesthesiologist was the one that had the concern. I didn't undertake the procedure today! The reason for the Colonoscopy is because they want to do this before removing of Hemoroids. From what I understand Hemoroids can also cause Autonomic Dysreflexia and from what I understand this is life threatning! The doctor says it isn't still wondering what I should do.
