I had my colonoscopy a few months ago and it was absolutely a breeze for me. I think the worse part was drinking the junk. I told them at the hospital how nervous I was and the anesteologist(sp) said he would keep me as comfortable as possible and he did. I did not know anything until they woke me up afterwards. They were absolutely wonderful to me. Our hospital is a new one that has only been open about a year and they really go out of their way to be so nice to you. Let them know when you get there that you want to be kept comfortable. I remember when they started putting me to sleep I ask the doctor if he had ever done this test before and they all started laughing. They said "no, they had picked him up under the bridge that morning". It was really a great experience and I was upset that I had worried so much about it. You will do great but do let them know what you expect. Sorry to go on about this but try not to worry. I will be thinking about you Monday.
