Thanks for your input. The insensitivity of the medical community stuns me sometimes. I think there must be such a shortage of health care workers that they will take anything that breathes. One thing we all have to realize is that these "techs" and most nurses (even the RNs) are 2 year (or less) community college graduates. These are not people who if they hadn't gone into health care would have become architects or engineers. They would have become hair dressers or auto mechanics. They are basically skilled tradespeople, and they have the same mind set as your plumber. Do you think your plumber cares how the sink feels when he's working on it? YOu really have to advocate for yourself to get decent and respectful health care.
