I had my first colonoscopy last week and it was quite a breeze. I spoke to 2 people since then (1 had theirs done recently) and both of them had not been sedated for their colonoscopy! What!? How can this be? They both said that they would never do a colonoscopy again and I don't blame them. I believe that both of those doctors did a diservice to their patients.
