In order for your doctor to do the procedure, the prep must be successful so you really need to check in with him/her to be sure you have the right instructions. This can be a scary procedure, but many people get through it pretty easily. Try to think of it as something you are doing to keep yourself healthy.

Please call the doctor who recommended the colonoscopy. Tell him/her that you are a gastric bypass patient and ask exactly what kind of prep to use and how to take it.
