yeh...i'm a huge fan of the original movie...but when you look at this movie...you have to remember that it is a remake...i do think you would get the same suspence effect as if you where seeing this film without ever have seeing the original halloween....yes for me and a lot of halloween fans that have seen the original movie countless times...we knew what was coming....on just about every kill...except for the biginning of the movie and thats why i feel that the bigining was a nice touch...but a little over the top with the lingo...and i'm sorry i didn't mind at all...with the nudity...as a matter of fact...i liked lori sister better...she was hot...you know...i wasn't going to go see this movie...because i saw the screen test version first...and it sucked...but the finial cut was real good compared to the screen test version...and i think what i liked about michael was he was so brutal...and that showed when he killed the gard that watched over him for 15 years...no emotion total evil...there was a lot of things missing in the screen test version...i'm just glad i gave it a chance and went to the movies and saw it....i think it would be a busness mistake to not make a new mask from this movie...we just don't know what the outcome of this movie will be...i do know i was listening to the teenagers in the theater...saying that they loved it...and they thought he was really scary....granted i wasn't but i knew what was coming...and most of these teens today are used to a difrent kind of horror film...then when i was growing up...i'm just saying it wasn't all that bad...for a remake...and the one thing i like is it will restart the michael myers craze again...you know last year on a haunted hay ride i was on some of the kids really didn't know who michael myers was...they would say things like...oh..thats the guy in the white mask...maybe it will bring back some fear in them...when they run across my brother this halloween...in the costume...my brother is 6-6 tall...that works in his favor...and i already know what seen we will use in the new film...on the hey ride....he will be in chains with the gards walking him through bared doors and he will break free throw the gards all over the place and then come after the people...or stalk them through the hey ride...not well planed yet...but in the making.....let me know what you think...ezra.....john...and as far as the mask goes just convert one of your molds i would not redo a whole mold..just put some facial cracks in the mold and change the paint sceam a little...boy didn't i make that sound so easy....ha ha...well i know its not that easy...but it might be worth it$$$$...you know i was looking for the new mask...i only found 1 for sale....and it sucked....so get on the ground floor with the new version...it can't hurt...it could make you a lot of money....don't get me wrong....i still love my h1 - h2 masks..and i still love both original movies over this rob zombie...but i feel this new movie could bring back michael myers to the younger kids as there number one killer again.....john
