Hey Cory,
In my opinion Yak hair is good for the realistic human hair look, but as far as Myers masks, and Kirk masks go I don't suggest it. If I were you I would use crepe wool. You can order it from most special effect suppliers on the internet. It isn't that expencive either. I think it is about $10. per yard. 1 braided yard should do 1 mask. Let me know if you have any trouble.
