I'm using 24LC512 of Microchip .. it has a WP pin & i've disabled it.. i mean i made it both read & write.. Initially i've written my own driver code & cross checked with the application note (app11010) .. apart from minor modifications, most of the driver code was same. I'm getting ACK for each & every transaction (i.e, every byte) between my controller & the eeprom. I'm also able to read the data from the eeprom .. but its not at all accepting the data in the same location. The frequency of the clock is 357Khz (there is no 400Khz option in 3664 @ 10Mhz crystal) .. is it affecting my write operation..? the max clk frequency my EEPROM can accept is 400Khz & the write cycle is 5ms .. to counter react the write cycle, I've added a 50ms delay at the end of my write operation.
