Is this happening during normal operation or during debug. Have you tried not enabling the watchdog timer ? does this make any difference. What about the reset pin, is there any activity there ? I have never seen anything in the I2C interface that could cause a reset, how do you know a reset is occuring ? does your software restart or can you see some event Keith
