Posted by Keith on 21/7/2004, 3:30 pm, in reply to "Reset instruction for H8/36014" There is no direct method to cause the device to do a hardware reset, however you could allow the watchdog to timeout. You can reset the software and reinitialise the peripherals by taking the reset vector again
