Change In Pace ( Poem )

I walked the world so lonely and afraid which
lead me to a hatred place
so dark and cold that I once could not resist.

I walked for miles with this sad sad face
always looking for a change

The tears streamed down my face and wondered
will my life ever change ?
you soon came without a trace, and pulled me
out with your loving grace.

I cried for I thought this day would never come
you held me tight and said it's time for change.

your love for me and that caring face
was all I needed to make a change

I now walk with a different pace
and thank you for my life you changed.
