He is a businessman; he is there to make money I don't think that you would keep running a company if you knew you were going to loose money. It isn't his fault that the economy went south. He did give to the community he provided society with jobs, and in the movie he they said that he donated three million dollars. 3.) People should be grateful that he did provide jobs for the city. What did they have before him?? Yes, the man was well of financially but that was because he took risks. Does that mean he should pay people money? He was being smart and keeping his money. I know that he did buy this son that million dollar thing; I will agree the money could have gone back to the community. But at what point does his responsibility stop??? If he wasn't successful would the citizens have given him money for the risk he took on to start the company? That would be like saying that Bill Gates should give all of his money and rebuild Louisiana for the hurricane, because he sells his products in the state. There is only so much one individual owes to society. Let me know what you think??

Do not think that it is fair for people to blame a single individual for establishing a company who was successful. There are many question and comments for people who blame him.
1.) Didn't the man give the city a lot of jobs and pay them more than anyone else was?
People became greedy and dependent on him. It is not his responsibility to keep the town employed.
