Well Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal helped or was responsible for the creation many of those organizations. Mainly it was FDR’s hope that these organizations could either help give relief to the poor & downtrodden, help the economy recover or reform some old practices that might of lead to the depression. They also derive from FDR and his administration’s ideas that were actually the ideas of earlier progressives. They are primarily government agencies, acts and policies that the people nicknamed using acronyms or abbreviations. Some of the organizations or acts were beneficial in that it helped reform, give relief or help people recover and were the back-bone for many of the organizations we currently have today. And the others were mainly for quick relief or failed but FDR’s administration did what they had to, to help the economy and people during the terrible stretch of years.
