Franklin D. Roosevelt played a manipulating role, he basically look out for those who could keep him in office and with power. It was interesting to see that blacks and whites can cooperate on something positive to get things accomplished. i just can;t understand why he couldn't sit down and have a talk withn the (STFU) Southern Tenanats Farmers Union to get a better understanding of what was needed and come to a final agreement. Roosevelt was only interested in helping the rich and wealthy the ones with the power and didn't care much about the lower class individuals.
