I thought that DuBois' idea was interesting too. I just think that it would defeat the whole purpose of their fight for freedom and equality. The African Americans didn't like it when they were segregated from the whites before but now all of a sudden an African American leader says that it is a good idea. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
