I thought that this article was really interesting. i knew that in the past when america was in a time of war that food was rationed and such, but i had no idea that there would be "rising death rates and popular anger." it makes sense, i just hadn't thought of it that way. i think that it would be really frusterating for the government to tell you during those times what to buy and what not to buy. you would really almost have to ration everything that you owned. "tinfoil scraps," that says it all. its really sad, and im sure it would be a really tough thing to go through.
