Japanese people were ordered to leave the west coast and migrate somewhere else just because they were all thought of as "spies". Blacks were not totally allowed to participate in the navy and they were lynched if they didn't respect whites. Few were enlisted and only allowed to do work and cook. This goes to show that discrimination was still alive and there was still work to be done far more than the 4 freedoms. When the Civil Rights movement came along it gave many hope for an equalized future.
