I found Lilienthal's article the most interesting of the articles read for today's class. He explained that "bigness" or big businesses for the most part had been very much feared back in the '50's. People did not want big businesses to take over.. they enjoyed small businesses and believed they were more safe. However, in our day today, big businesses are essential to us. The risks and fears that went along with the idea of big business "are now managable" and are not as much of a fear as they had been. He also made a point of freedom of choice being a very important part as well, just as Mills had stated in his article as well. Citizens need to be able to make their own choices and not be limited in their choices.
