It was very interesting reading about the black students and how they actually stood up for what they believed in. In the beginning of page 221, it explained how the students stood up for so much and did not back down to a movement. The most interesting example was the students who went into a restaurant everyday for 5 months knowing that they would be served and finally they were served. It is amazing to see kids actually standing up for what they believe in and knowing they can get something accomplished. I think the best quote of the pages was "The students prove unmistakably what most people in this country have yet to discover: that time is real." This quote is actually recognizing students and giving them credit for what theyre doing.
