The comparisons on this article seemed very true. I personally like the one about how welfare is just basically like replacing the man inside the house...welfare is telling you what you can and can not spend money on just like men do. The story of how the woman only has 3 kids not 12 shows that it does not take a "whore" to be on welfare just that due to the unjust system of men vs. women in the workplace can leave some women on welfare and fighting to keep their families alive.
I also enjoyed the comment that, "On TV, a woman learns that human worth means beauty and that beauty means being thin, white, young and rich. She learns that her body is really disgusting the way it is, and that she needs all kinds of expensive cosmetics to cover it up." That seems to still hold true today. I mean look at the distance the actresses go to look "perfect." Its been so long but all these rules and the idea that for a girl to have the perfect life she needs the perfect body have all stayed in tact.
