The draft has its good points and its bad. Many would argue that it each and every American's duty to fight for their nation when the nation needs them. As citizens of this nation, in order to enjoy the freedom that we do, conflicting forces that may threaten that liberty must be stopped. However, the governement does not realize the full weight of the war. Mothers lose sons, wives lose husbands. A draft is a difficult issue to argue. Maybe its not the people of Americas fault for not joining up. Most Americans don't even support this war, so how can a government expect the people to fight?
