Reading this selection, I found it hard to believe. Because America is a symbol of being free and giving people a lot of opportunity, these stories show that America was not what it was expected to do. Reading about the guy who was close to his pension, who had to find another job at a local McDonald or Burger King, to help support his family, shows that hard working people with a great amount of skills would have to seek a job at a low skilled job.
