If we did do something everyone would complain about how the US isn't a global police force, like they are now. It seems to be more a matter of global approval. If we went into Iraq saying "oh, Hussein is a bad guy" nobody would approve of our actions. We need to wait for reasoning before we can do something, especially toppling a government
