Fr. Paul Scalia of St. Patrick parish will be leading a tour of the medieval and Renaissance collections at the National Gallery of Art on Monday, December 30 (this is the Monday after Christmas).
The tour will begin at 10 AM. We will meet in the Atrium just inside the Madison Avenue entrance (up one flight of stairs if you enter via Connecticut Avenue).
Father's talk will focus on "Good Theology Produces Good Art", and tie church history with art history, including some politics and saints along the way. The age range for this tour is Grades 6 and up (ok for mature 11 year olds); a timeline will be provided.
PLEASE RSVP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO MY EMAIL
( mcguireclan8@msn.com ). Thank you. If there is room, Fr. Scalia would like to open this tour up to some people from his parish as well.
