Posted by Diana on 11/9/2005, 3:54 pm It's that time of year where our horses would love to go to thier new homes for the holidays and help you celebrate. we have several very nice horses ranging fro $0-$800 Horses broke for Riding/trails Louie is a 15 yr. old 15.3 h chestnut QH gelding, he is broke to ride can be stubborn and very lazy, has been on trails and would make a great 4H project $700 Fury is a 12 yr. old, 15.2 h black QH gelding, he is broke to ride has been on trails and also would make a great 4H project $800 Beau is a 24 yr. old 15.3 h Bay QH gelding, he is broke to ride was a lesson horse for years and has also been a trail horse. He does have some pep to him but is very responsive under saddle and knows his leg Q's His back is very swayed and will need wedge pads to build up his back for a saddle. $350 Light Riding Horses: Babe is a 21 yr. old 15.3 h red dun Morgan/QH cross, she was foundered at one time, she has been rehabilitated and is now sound for light riding, loves kids and to be fussed over. $400 Hunter is a 6 yr old Quarter Pony he has a stifle injury to his left stifle and will require 2 months of rest and then light training again. He is broke to ride but does throw a very hard buck if his stifle is sore. $350 Rambo a 15 yur old leopard Appaloosa gelding 15.3 h, broke to ride, has bonny growths in his stifles sop he will require joint supplements, can be used for walk trot, or trail horse only. $500 Companion Horses ONLY: (Adoption fees are waived if a forever home can be found for these horses) Tuffy is a 12 yr. old 15.3 h chestnut QH gelding, he is very stocky. He got tangled up in barbed wire at his owners place and was never treated by a vet, he has a severed tendon in his right knee so that leg serves as a prosthetic leg for him to walk about freely. Misty is a 4 yr. old Rocky Mountain Horse, she stands 12 h and is very sweet, she was stepped on by her mother as a foal and fractured the cervical vertebrae in her neck causing it to fuse. She can never be ridden. Magic came to us after her owners were charged with 110 counts of cruelty to Animals. She does have a calcified right rear ankle and her left eye has some scaring due to an ulcer that was never treated. she does have sight in both eyes and is very sweet and lovable. Gets along great with anyone. Maize is a 20+ liver chestnut pony mare, she was purchased from a killer buyer while she was being loaded in the slaughter truck, she is very mare-ish and would make a great companion horse for someone. She appears to have been abused along the line some where and that is why she is so protective of herself. IS NOT a KIDS PONY.
