For the second year, Old Bedford Village will serve as host for Brigade Napoleon's Grand Encampment and Tactical. The Forces of the Emperor Napoleon and the Coalition that opposed him will clash in 3 battles on Saturday (including a non public tactical in the early evening) and one on Sunday. Life of the everyday soldier and cavalryman will be depicted as Old Bedford is transformed into the Saxon village of Halle. Hussars, Cuirassiers, Dragoons, Voltigerus, Fusiliers, Grenadiers, Rifle, Light and Line troops will occupy the town, live in the houses and fight upon the "Fields of Glory". International participation in the event is expected as the British Line from Canada come south to give the French and their Allies opposition. Units from overseas are welcome. Affiliated time periods (War of 1812, American Revolution, and the French and Indian War) can participate with simple uniform changes. The location being depicted is central Europe but other Napoleonic impressions (Iberia, Italy, Scandinavia, etc) are welcome.
