good evening...(in california..)the dimensions you gave are most helpful.i have another question regarding the plume and holder.how was it attached to the body of the colpack?was there a tube between the fur and leather body to insert the tip? and what kept the plume feathers from bending where they dont have support of the leather body.are red marabou (fluffy) feathers suitable for the plume? i made one with a red feather boa wrapped around small diameter dowel but i' m afraid it might snap in any kind of breeze.west coast napoleonistas are scarce so i'm operating from reference books.look forward to hearing from you
