To all who attended the Bedford event, Thank You for coming. Many traveled far, we had folks from, Canada, New Hampshire, Kansas and the Far Traveller award goes to John Hurley from Washington State.
The French Cavalry Reserve did a great job on the field, in a few years I will be worried about 4 to 1 odds. Keep working to the big goal.
Heres a short list of items that are needed. Grooming Kit - Hard brush, soft brush, curry (rubber or old time metal), hoof pick and sponge and sweat scraper. Fly spray. A leather halter and plain cotton lead (8 ft) with bull snap. Saddle blanket. On an organizational level each regiment should have a leather hole punch and their own picket rope and a fork for cleaning the line.
You have spent thousands of dollars on kit. These items for individual use can be had for about $100.00. I will at a latter time post sources for theses and prices.
Respectfully,
Wayne
