i remember growing up and the mayflower used to open their panto season at the end of November and run right through till valentines day. we used to go and see the panto at the end of january and was still a great atmosphere.
now working in panto land yearly and was doing panto last year till the 3rd week of january which does feel strange but most of the audience either haven't seen the panto or are coming back for a second helping.
