Could it be that he is cheaper than other panto performers?
This years panto may struggle not just becasue of Mr W - but becuase the theatre has Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on 3 weeks before.
In todays climate people are only going to afford to see one show and I think that the panto may suffer.
I for one will be not going to see the Stoke panto because If I hear one more Robbie Williams reference in panto I will scream!
I will be spending my hard earned to go and see Manchester, Birmmingham and Nottingham panto's instead
