Hello Marcus & Co,
Im not a producer but could you use a blackout scene with some ultra violet lamps with a flurecent carpet and costumes moving on a trolley for example? You could also use a miniture model of the characters sat on the carpet whizzing through the air....
(Even big panto producers sometime miss this scene out)Good luck with show!
