Thank you Robbi for your reply. Thinking back since i posted here about the costume malfunctions that can acure involving quick or rather hurried changes. I recall on one accasion when our dame rushed off to get changed in the wings, any the change was going on time , when dissater struck and to this day they still say it wasnt on purpose, the two people on stage jump to the cue line. well luckly this time the dame was ready be fore time, so off he went. Because i had a scene change coming up i left my post, when i here a lot of laghter , im thinking that gag went down well, when i happened to at the moniter, the sight that greeted me was one of sheer horor. There stood the dame on stage only with the top half on and the skirk around his ankle now,if that wasnt bad emough,he was stood there in spakled pop socks and a jockstrap. well i shouted lights and we had a black out. i shant bore you with what was said backstage afertward somes not for public ears. What had happen was because of the jumped lines it was decide to forgo with the blloomers and get on with the dress on, in the panic not all the poppers where not faseened proply and because of the weight of theskirt something gave way and down it came. if any of you have any thing like this happen please tell.

: hi all out there in pantoland.I cant belive
: its that time of the year again. I was
: wondering,is there no limit to the amount of
: costumes a dame can use in panto. I sure i
: read somewhere that tradition has it the the
: dame has a different costume for each scenes
: she/hes in and should never wear thesame
: costume more than once. It would be
: intresting to find out if there is a world
: record for the most costumes used by a dame
: in panto. I know for a fact in one panto at
: stevenage paul laidlaw had i think at least
: 20 costumes. So how many costumes is the
: norm. Also whats the quickest change anyones
: tried. Heres to a good season. Clive
