I haven't been to Palladium this year, or plan to. It is a lavish production I'm sure, but I've now seen Julian Clary and Paul Zerdin three years in a row, and have noticed they rarely include new material. I think once you've seen them in panto once or twice you've seen what they have to offer. Don't get me wrong it is great what they do, but think you need a break before seeing them again!:-)
: Didnít quite know what to make of this panto
: today. Had seen the bulk of it in Birmingham
: previously. If, like me, you see a lot of
: QDOS pantos, then they seem to follow a
: similar format.
: Sadly for me, I saw the Cannon & Ball
: panto at the London Palladium years ago. It
: had a script that had been specially written
: for the show (and not just adapted).
: Donít get me wrong, it had its moments and
: the cast were equally talented but
: disappointing for me. I know there will be
: lots that totally disagree with me.
