This is not the strongest QDOS production Iíve seen but the people of Liverpool havenít seen a pantomime like this at the Empire for many years. The reviews back this up.
There has been some attempt to localise it with a specially-written song and some of the cast. If QDOS want to fill the auditorium next year, it would be wise to have a bill of local names. Add Les Dennis (popular, loved and experienced in panto) and other scouse names and ticket sales should soar, based on the response to this year.
