The initial agreement was for three years and yes it had planned to return to it's variety roots. however if the right show comes along I'm sure they will jump at having a long runner. Problem is the larger theatres are not in as high demand as they are so hard to fill for long runs. Finding the right show will be the tricky thing, it would.either need go be a big star lead show (e.g. Bette Midler in Hello Dolly) or a mega hit with brand recognition such as Frozen
I've heard same as original poster on this, i believe as it currently stand there is no agreement beyond this years but there is a musical already earmarked for palladium
Really? I heard that the Palladium as a venue was going to go back to its variety roots and have what it currently has like solo performers, pantos, 3 month stint shows etc?
Iíve heard that this year is last one at palladium as itís the end of a 3 year deal and they want a big long running musical back in this venue
