Kona has had a rough life, I got her at a few months old, she was already afraid of humans, loud noises, sudden movements. It seemed that she was beat pretty bad and had a large scar along the full length of her back when I got her. The previous owner had a dog who mauled her. She has since been living with me and my husband and our other dog. My husband and I are not home alot and feel that Kona should be in a home where the owners can have more interaction with her. She is gentle and very cute. She has never had any aggressive tendancies toward humans or other animals, except the occasional sparrow. We keep her indoors but she loves our backyard as well. She is an escape artist however. My main concern is her weight, she is extremely thin and I am constantly trying to fatten her up. Lastly, she needs a special type of owner, she is easily scared and not so easily coaxed so patience and unconditional love is needed.
