Many dogs do not mature until they are over two years old and that is when the fighting would start. Pitbulls do not mature until 2-3 years of age. A female pit would never be recommended to live with another female dominant breed. Ask any of the pit bull rescuers, people knowledgeable on that breed or dog knowledgeable people in general. Just because your dog is not aggressive to other female dogs does not mean that another female wouldn't hurt or seriously injure your dog. This happens. Of course there are some female dogs who can live together, but for the most part two female dogs are not recommended. You would need to carefully choose another female especially an adult female and be prepared not to leave them alone when you go out at least not until you know for sure they won't fight. Two female dogs can fight to the death. Sorry but this is the truth and I would hate for your dog to pay the price.
