“Toben” (A246367) was turned in to the Pasadena Humane Society on March 3rd by his owner. Toben was an outside-only dog, and his constant barking bothered the neighbors. Instead of trying to bring Toben inside, his owner decided to bring him in to the shelter. Now, we are trying to place Toben in an experienced Jindo home.
Toben weighs about 38 pounds, and is in good health. He has already been neutered and has received his DHLPP, bordetella and rabies vaccines.
Toben exhibits some touch sensitivity as Jindos are likely to do. He doesn’t care for his paws being handled. It was also likely that Toben had never been leashed before he came to us. Over the last several weeks shelter staff have worked with him a lot on this issue, and he is now doing much better; he takes walks around the shelter often.
Toben needs an experienced Jindo owner, as he still needs some work on socialization with people. He would do well in an adults-only home.
Although Toben has a lot of fans at the shelter, we are unable to devote the time required to bring him around completely. We have been asked to get a commitment for Toben by Tuesday, April 7th.
If you are able to rescue “Toben” (A246367), please contact the Pasadena Humane Society adoptions office at (626) 792-7151 x 137, Kevin at x 119, Mary at x 121, or Ute at x 117. Or email Kevin at mobile@phsspca.org Mary at adoptsup@phsspca.org or Ute at ute@phsspca.org
Thank you!
