Well yes they can be placed separately, because they are not with me they are at the shelter. I really wish I could do more but I can't take any into my home, and at this type of shelter you can't really put a "hold" on an animal unless you pay a deposit, half the adoption fee, over the phone. Now, if you are a rescue registered with them, then i think the fee to pull is 25$. So I suppose you could call in, using your credit or debit card to put a deposit, and then have your wife's brother pick them up. Unfortunately this shelter is medium kill and doest have many volunteers, esp those that can transport animals. But I will give you the shelter's contact info so you can try. I was hoping that there would be more people in this area to adopt them, I know they exist but perhaps dont want to deal with nc shelters?
