--Previous Message-- It was great to see the girls in "My Fair Super Hero" #1 go gah-gah over him(and even slip him a phone number!). I remember a scene from WCA where Simon was out with Wanda and some girls asked for his autograph and he asked if he should sign it "Wonder Man" and they said "Who?". I thought that was great because they liked him for Simon Williams, the actor, not Wonder Man, the Avenger. Of course one could take it the other way by saying Wonder Man was so under the radar, these girls didn't even know he existed...but I didn't! But I agree that his looks should be played up like that. It would be fun to see...say, Ms Marvel...get jealous every time some young girls flirt with him. I picture Simon like "The Rock"-not the greatest actor in the world but good looking and successful enough from his other career to be well liked.
: He has been paired with several superheroines
: already but I agree about a ladies man, it
: makes a lot of sense. Women should be
: bringing down his apartment's door and
: waiting in line. Marvel is plain stupid for
: not taking advantage of the potential here.
: I'd like to see him handled like Will
: Eisner's Spirit were there were a lot of
: girls always fawning around for him and a
: bunch of supervillainess that wanted to get
: in bed with him.
