I think you could concentrate on technology that is usually impractical to create as a portable device because of the sheer amount of energy that is needed as a power source. Like teleportation, for example. You could explain that teleportation devices would never be practical for, say, Iron Man or Dr. Doom to incorporate into their armors due to the energy source necessary to power a teleporter. But with Simon acting as his own battery, the functional portion of the teleporter could fit into a pair of devices the size or two iPods, which he would wear on his belt as a sort of visual throwback to his old belt jets. Then you could have him incorporate technology into his sunglasses to give them more practical use. Maybe a micro-camera built into his glasses that records everything Simon looks at. Then the teleporters would work by being able to teleport to any location that has been recorded by the glasses. Plus having a recording of every battle might come in useful in solving a mystery or reporting to SHIELD or what have you. There are a ton of possibilities without needing to fundamentally alter his character or his natural powerset. --Previous Message-- : Very ingenious idea, DoubleK! Sounds very
: interesting, almost like an ionic Doctor
: Pym. I would rather see him shoot blasts
: while in ionic form only, ala Human Torch,
: and keep that "Ionic Touch",
: disrupting people's innards, ala Vision. But
: I would be open to this approach, as long as
: he doesn't become an ionic Punisher!
