I just don't like the idea of Wonder Man as a sack of energy in the form of a man. There are lots of inhuman / funky characters in comic books, I think that is actually the norm, especially in the Marvel universe. Besides I'm not against to the "made" of energy idea if it becomes better explained like taking in account that scientifically speaking we all are energy. We are formed of atoms and molecules and all of these are charged with energy so saying that Simon is made of energy as if the laws of science didn't apply is just bad fiction. You have to have some base in real science. So to me it sounds better if he has all the insides that shapes a human but his celullar structure is altered.
