But I did like the older, long hair, trench coat wearing Wondy from the mini, also. Perhaps one day when he starts leaning towards the "Hollywood" persona he could start sporting that look.

: I honestly like that Simon is back to wearing
: the jet-black tank top look, but I still
: prefer the Jeff Johnson details he added to
: it like the strapped up weightlifting gloves
: in place of the bracelets. I do like that
: Bagley gave Wonder Man a W shaped belt
: buckle, but I think the lengthy arm-bands
: don’t look right. The closer his costume
: resembles civilian clothing, the better in
: my opinion as long as he has the black and
: red color scheme.
:
: I do agree that the W motif for his
: civilian clothing is a good idea and a nice
: touch. I mean it makes sense he would put
: that into his regular clothing since he has
: no secret identity and could go into action
: on a moments notice like the Fantastic Four.
: Plus he is a celebrity and lots of them have
: their own clothing line, so it would be cool
: if he has his own line of clothing from
: Janet Van Dyne’s company.
:
: As far as his long hair and trench coat
: look, I absolutely love it, but at this
: point I don’t think it fits with Simon’s
: current status in the Marvel Universe. I
: mean the guy is a celebrity on top of being
: an Avenger so he doesn’t really have any
: reason to look dark and brooding at this
: point unless his brother shows up and
: murders some of his friends with a scythe.
: Then I could see him needing clothes to show
: his new darker outlook on life.
:
: I think one of the looks I enjoyed the
: most, but was rarely used was Simon wearing
: a short version of his red jacket over his
: classic tank top costume. It was on top of
: the message board a while back when Simon
: visited his then dead brother’s grave. As
: long as Simon is the only one in the jacket
: it looks good, but I hate when entire teams
: adopt that look like the X-Men and Avengers
: did in the 90s. Suddenly everyone had trench
: coats or flight jackets. It’s like all of
: them went shopping at the same clothing
: outlet.
:
: In all seriousness, as long as they don’t
: jam him into the Christmas Tree/Green
: Rocketeer uniform again, I’ll be happy with
: whatever Wonder Man wears.
