: He never had that chain until Cho tried
: pimpin' him up. The question is (as is most
: of the last 3 years of Avengers stuff) is it
: just an error or is it a tell? Why is the MA
: Simon in that jacket when he already dumped
: it? I mean Cho showed him lacking flight,
: our pal Simon doesn't get all the background
: research that other characters get.
:
: Simon needs respect, he needs respect NOW,
: and I hope it happens in this series. Did we
: ever find out what SHIELD was really
: blackmailing him with?
:
: The 'shipwreck' WonderMan did have the OLD
: white rimmed sunglasses on, so I'm thinking
: the chain was just a boo-boo.
:
: Not only that, but the "real"
: Wonder Man's eyes could be seen through his
: shades on the double spread where the
: "other" heroes are exiting the
: Skrull ship. Yeah, I know Wondy can made his
: eyes appear when he wants, but that would
: have been a strange time to want to do it. I
: thought maybe it was a clue that this Wonder
: Man was a Skrull, but he has been seen
: before without the shades and had no eyes.
: So either it was another art mistake at
: Simon's expense or it WAS a clue that he was
: replaced, but not too long ago.
Yes and thats the problem. We can't tell if it was just another art blunder or if was indeed a clue. Writers constantly screw up when it concerns Simon so its hard to tell either way. I actually hope the Simon on the ship is the real deal as maybe he wouldn't be stuck in the background like he is in MA.
