I though it was a pretty good writeup overall. I still think it's a little confusing concerning the presence of blood or the lack of blood in this body. I guess they are saying that "now", after his current "reincarnation", that he lacks blood? The earlier pictures in the FAQ show plenty of pictures of blood, but I suppose they are saying that NOW, he lacks blood.
By the way, have they ever really gotten into the facts concerning the alleged embezzlement from the charity? I groaned when I read about it the first time, because stating that he embezzled money recently seems to inexplicably throw his character back a ways, without any rational explanation (although I suppose it would be sort of like Marvel in other ways, in regards to two specific examples. Hank Pym hit his wife, the Wasp, and he was seen as an evil wife beater. Then, it was discovered that he was possibly being controlled by Egghead, and that he also probably had a mental breakdown. Over years of acts to redeem himself and to repair his relationship with the Wasp, people stopped referring to him as a wife beater, and he had moved way past those connotations. Then, a few years back, Marvel (basically overnight) started referring to him as "the wife beater" again, and made it seem like everyone has always referred to him that way and always seen him in that light. The second example was Tony Stark's fall into alcoholism, his breakdown, then he recovered and put it all in the past behind him for years. However, much like with Pym, a few years back, people inexplicably (basically overnight) started referring to Tony Stark as a drunk and alcoholic, and tried to make it seem like they had been doing so over all of these years.) Yes, Wonder Man embezzled money back in the early 1960's, achieved redemption (I believe in the 80's), and it has been WAY in the rear view mirror for a long time, so it makes no sense to just have him embezzle again.
I get the feeling like certain writers at Marvel have tried to do "character research," so they pick up a random comic from 20 to 30 years ago, see a character trait, then try to make it seem like that character trait is as fresh today as it ever was, without any bit of setup or common sense justification. Barf. Does anyone know if there was any more details to the alleged embezzlement that Wonder Man made from his charity?
